Burj Tower reaches 100 storeys and counting - image

The Burj Dubai, the building which is being built without its final height being made public, reached the 100-storey landmark this weekend.

SOM's vast skyscraper is cloaked in secrecy, but many believe that when finished it will be the tallest building in the world.

The huge tower now stands at 104 storeys and 361m tall, and has become one of only six structures in the world with 100 or more levels.

However, no one knows for certain when the contractors and developers will call a halt to the structure's inexorable rise.
