Austin-Smith:Lord’s John Ryland's Library in Manchester has scooped the 2007 Greater Manchester Chamber’s Building of the Year Award

Austin-Smith:Lord’s John Ryland's Library in Manchester has scooped the 2007 Greater Manchester Chamber’s Building of the Year Award.

The £12.5 million project included the restoration of the original Grade I-listed library and the construction of a new extension.

The award, given in recognition of the importance of new building projects in Greater Manchester, was announced at the Chamber’s Building and Development Section annual dinner on Thursday night.
