AJ contributing editor finds Sheffield postmen a cut above

When Steve Parnell, AJ contributing editor and Back Issues columnist, signed for his review copy of film Infinite Space: The Architecture of John Lautner, he enjoyed a bit of first-class banter with the postman. ’It arrived half an hour ago,’ Parnell told Astragal. ‘The postie was a card. He said in wide Sheffield accent: “The Architects’ Journal, eh? Bit of a Frank Lloyd Wright are we?”’ Parnell was so impressed with the postie’s archi-knowledge, he signed for the parcel as Lloyd Wright himself.
