Drawing with Dunlop – the forgotten art of sketching?

Injected with a Tony Hart-like gusto, this masterclass in sketching was taken from Dunlop’s own website.

DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE SOME BIG NAME BOYS OUT THERE WHO REDRAW THEIR INITIAL SKETCHES WHEN PUBLISHING.... AND WE ALL THINK OH HOW TRUE TO THE SKETCH IS THE BUILT RESULT... ONE BIG BOY EVEN HAS HIS ORIGINALS LOCKED UP SO NO ONE CAN SEE THEM ... AND DON´T TELL ME THIS GUY HADN´T DONE THAT SAME "SKETCH" BEFORE....SKETCHES ARE SKETCHES AND THEY COME FULL OF SQUIBBLES AND CORRECTIONS AND REDRAWN LINES... THEY USUALLY SHOW AN EXPLORATION OF IDEAS AS YOU GO ALONG... THIS IS SILLY SHOW OFF STUFF TO THOSE WHO NEVER SKETCH...AND DON´T KNOW HOW TO.
