Apologies for absence

It was standing room only at the book launch of Architecture for Humanity founder Cameron Sinclair’s Design Like You Give a Damn 2 in Shoreditch, London, last week, which doubled up with Architecture for Humanity’s ‘Ideas on a postcard, please’ event

There were one or two absentees, however: postcards from Richard Rogers, which were said to be en route, and Sinclair himself (pictured), who some said was occupied in his capacity as adviser on voluntary foreign aid to the Obama administration. It’s nice to be in demand.
