Arup about to release Holyrood beam report

The long-awaited report by Arup into the failure of the beam in the Scottish Parliament is expected this afternoon.

Parliament bosses hope the document will quash speculation about the problems in the controversial building's structure.

They also hope that the document will give some idea of when MSPs will be allowed to move back into the chamber, which they evacuated a month ago when the beam swung loose (3 March).
