Architecture Foundation launches Clerkenwell table football cup

The Architecture Foundation has announced that it is hosting a four-day table football tournament at The Yard, its gallery in Old Street.

The Clerkenwell Cup, which is supported by the AJ, has been launched to mark the success of the Hairywood installation, by 6a Architects and Eley Kishimoto, which can still be found at the gallery.

Qualifying rounds for the competition will be held 11 - 13 October and the final will take place on 14 October. Teams of two are invited to pit their skills on the 'mother of all football tables' - the world's most expensive, 'Opus', designed by Edinburgh-based Eleven Forty.

Among the prizes available to be won are a a year's subscription to the AJ and dinner for two at The Zetter.
