AJ's Christine Murray to chair Women in Architecture breakfast talk

AJ editor Christine Murray will chair a debate celebrating International Women’s Day on Friday 8 March

The breakfast event at the Zaha Hadid Architects-designed Roca London Gallery in partnership with Women in Architecture (WiA) and the AJ will debate the topic of creating change in architecture.

Held to celebrate International Women’s Day on the 8th March the breakfast talk will see AJ Women Architect of the Year Award winner Cindy Walters and winner of the AJ Emerging Architect of the Year Award Hannah Lawson of John McAslan and Partners joined by Sarah Wigglesworth, Eleanor Fawcett and the chair of RIBA’s Equality and Diversity Committee Dana Walker.

RIBA president Angela Brady will open and close the debate, she said: ‘I welcome the WiA/Roca Creating Change Debate exploring the role of women in the contemporary practice of architecture and how our profession can evolve to more readily reflect society, its communities and businesses.’
