A+DS criticises Aedas' Haymarket scheme

Architecture and Design Scotland (A+DS) has criticised Aedas Architects’ proposals for Edinburgh’s Haymarket Station for ‘lacking ambition’.

The Scottish design watchdog slammed Aedas’ original three options for the site, and has stated it remains ‘unconvinced’ by the preferred option of upgrading and renovating the existing station.

In a damning report, A+DS refused to back the scheme and called for the project to be revaluated before going any further.
