Morrow + Lorraine wins planning for Soho office-to-resi conversion

[FIRST LOOK + PROJECT DATA + PLANS] Emerging practice Morrow + Lorraine has won planning permission to convert a Soho office building into flats

The two properties which form part of a Georgian terrace in the Soho conservation area, will be converted into four new three-bedroom units.

The building’s brick façade will be retained, repaired and preserved as part of the scheme, and a new-build extension will be added to the roof and rear.

J-J Lorraine, director at Morrow + Lorraine, said: ‘London is crying out for new residential accommodation; the investors are ready to fund, the developers are ready build, and the architects are ready to design. We are thrilled to be given the green light to proceed with the scheme.’
