Astragal congratulates architectural technician Chris Van Essen on winning a copy of Dulux Trade colour-trend bible ColourFutures 2010.

To pick up the prize, Van Essen penned some lyrical prose on the importance of colour that grabbed the judges’ attention. Here’s a taster: ‘To view design without architecture or colour is to be looking at a blank canvas without passion or belief.’
