How is it that the Aeroports de Paris get any comissions let alone be considered for a competition and be chosen as a finalist? Is there a decent french airport at all designed by them? or have I missed something?

I am repeating myself here as I have made my comments in the digital AJ. The Braga stadium has no seating behind the goals which has led to some criticism by visisting and club fans. If this model is used you could actually fit the football pitch within the four chimneys at Battersea. However I don´t think British fans would very much appreciate this kind of arrangement and that seems to be the reason why KPF are placing their proposal on one side of the power station.

If you use the Braga model you could actually insert the football pitch inside the four chimneys. But remember the Braga stadium has no seating behind the goal posts at either end. This is actually a source of complaints by the Braga and visiting fans and I doubt very much if english fans would tolerate such an arrangement. That´s why KPF are putting the stadium next door.
