Meet the scholars: Oni Hinton

Posted by:

10 June, 2009

Oni Hinton, who was brought up in Crouch End, London, had dreams of becoming an architect from a very young age, even securing a work placement at an architectural company, and went on to excel in her GCSEs.

However, she was then struck down by glandular fever and her family went through an acrimonious family breakdown – leading to Oni failing her A-Levels. Rather than pursuing her ambition of becoming an architect, her lack of qualifications means that she now works as a sales assistant in a jewellery shop.
