Marks Barfield joins Women in Architecture programme

London Eye designers lend their credentials to AJ’s equality campaign

Marks Barfield  Architects is the latest company to support the Women in Architecture campaign.

Managing director, Julia Barfield said that the firm was happy to raise the profile of women in the profession.

“Our practice has recruited an even number of men and women ever since we first started out 25 years ago. However, while achieving a gender balance felt like the natural thing to do, the latest AJ survey reveals that this is not case at the majority of practices.

“We are happy, therefore, to have the opportunity to help boost the numbers in the wider industry and to support women in the profession.”
