The events, which are also backed by Architecture and Design Scotland and sponsored by urban regeneration companies, will ‘bring together leading architects, policy-makers and influential voices to address six of the most vital areas of current concern’.

Among those lined up to air their views include Alison Brooks, Germaine Greer, Gareth Hoskins, Wayne Hemingway (pictured) and Design Museum figurehead Deyan Sudjic.
