A fabulous concept, using one of the watercourses common to Sheffield to create a linear trail through the City. The exploration of culverted brooks and rivers offers exciting opportunities for Habitat creation. I like the proposed use of bio engineering techniques and the idea links well to other established routes through the City such as the gold route, also using water but in a more controlled form. The development of a nature rich route through an industrial area could create a striking contrast.
