Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid has designed the exhibition layout for a display of traditional Berber textiles from Morocco and Tunisia at the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Brussels (left). The exhibition features 120 items which act as forms of expression for women in rural North Africa. Hadid takes the patterns and structures of the carpets as the inspiration for the exhibition design. A second part to the exhibition has contemporary art work by Bracha Lichtenberg Ettinger. The show is due to run until 21 May this year.
