Zaha Hadid Architects

Zaha Hadid Architects today unveils new images of its 50m high ski-jump on Bergisel Mountain overlooking Innsbruck at a new exhibition in the Swiss city. The practice won an international competition for the 90m long ski jump in December 1999.The old ski jump no longer meets international standards and the structure is due to open in time for the next ski season as part of a major refurbishment of the Olympic arena. Two elevators will bring visitors to a 40m high viewing terrace. The exhibition, designed by the practice, is being shown at Innsbruck University and closes on 8 August.
