Wrong architect on the hill in Brazil

letters

Having driven past it almost daily on my way to work during my time in Brazil and marvelled at it perched on the hillside on the outskirts of São Paulo, the house shown in the photograph of the book review, titled 'Joys from Brazil' (AJ 24.2.05), is most certainly by the architect Marcos Acayaba and not by Lucio Costa as labelled.

The work of Acayaba was featured recently at the Architectural Association and more exposure to the current generation of Brazilian architects would be welcome.

Andrew Roberts, Weldon Walshe Ed: Apologies, but this was an error by the book's publishers.
