Walters and Cohen

Walters and Cohen is starting on site with this visitor centre at Wakehurst Place in West Sussex.

The new Visitor and Interpretation Centre, which will provide a point of arrival and orientation for visitors, aims to be responsible to both the cultural and natural heritage of the site and complement the unique character of the garden.

Wakehurst Place, the most visited attraction in the county, is also home to Stanton Williams'critically acclaimed Millennium Seed Bank. The 'forest pavilion'will be sited close to the boundary of the 202ha estate and will also include catering facilites, a shop, a plant nursery and offices. The project is due for completion in February 2004.
