Waiting for the next thrilling instalment

letters

It is very naughty of young Jeremy Melvin to shred Stephen Gardiner's book so amusingly in last week's issue (AJ 30.1.03). He should beware! The last time the AJ was so outrageous (AJ 4.6.75), the wounded Gardiner responded with a gloriously selfhoisting petard which was published two weeks later. I am agog for next week's instalment.
