Vile comparisons

While there is a long interview with Robert Venturi in the new OMA publication Content, Rem doesn't necessarily like comparisons being made. In particular he was scathing about a propositon by Peter Eisenman, placing Koolhaas, Venturi, Eisenman himself and Aldo Rossi; the first two were at the cynical end of the spectrum, the latter all about 'resistance, discipline and utopia'. Rem noted that Rossi was dead, and perhaps this proposition was about Eisenman 'extending his shelf life'.
