Very Early Stages - 12 December 2007

After the success of the recent ground-breaking ceremony at Foxhill, we’re on the move and installing all the necessary equipment on site before we begin construction.

There are a lot of jobs that need doing in order to set everything in motion, and we’re cracking on with them so we can move forward as quickly as possible. Hoardings, herras fencing and cabins have been installed to sites K1 and K2 to enable us to start groundworking in December.

Now that we’re moving on site, we thought it was important to keep the local residents informed of what’s happening, so we’ve done a letter drop to homes in the surrounding area. Considering the vast amounts of consultation that took place earlier this year, we want to ensure that everyone involved with and affected by our pioneering development is kept in the loop and fully informed of all events.

In the letter we reiterated our explanation of Artisan as a business and what we hope to achieve with this development. We also informed people about setting up on site, the erection of hoardings and fencing to secure the site and the cabins that have been put in place. We then explained that the groundworks would start in December and that we hope to scaffold after Christmas. We also included our contact details in case any of the residents have any queries.
