A new Corus product is being launched which uses the Kalzip standingseam system. The perforated nature of Veil enables buildings to be subtly 'cloaked' and can be used on new build and in the refurbishment of existing properties. Veil allows for both natural ventilation and daylight to pass through the clad area. Night-time lighting can enhance the perforated facade while, during the day, uniformity can be brought to the building, which is barely visible behind the veil. It has been used successfully to enclose and protect existing buildings against vandalism and further decay while allowing natural light and air to penetrate the complex.
