THINGS ARE NO CLEARER IN BLACK AND WHITE

LETTERS

What a pity you decided to render your Building Study entirely in monochrome (AJ 23.02.06).

I thought the idea behind such features was that both words and pictures worked harmoniously to give the reader as objective an interpretation of the building as possible.

How do black-and-white photos further that aim? Or is there some aesthetic principle at work I have failed to grasp?
