The Traditional Housing Bureau

focus showcase

The Traditional Housing Bureau has voiced its support of a Lincolnshire site housing Europe's first earth-sheltered architect's office and home by Jerry Hall of Search Architects.

The site uses Passive Solar Design techniques, combined with the benefits of the higher thermal mass of concrete, to create efficient, super-insulated buildings. The sustainable building also has exposed concrete wall, floor and ceiling surfaces.
