What the hell is happening to everyone's old favourite, the Skylon? When Jack Pringle first became RIBA president last year, there was a lot of talk about the rebirth of Powell and Moya's Festival of Britain masterpiece on a new South Bank site. Now these replica plans seem to have died a death, rumour reaches Astragal's ever-inquisitive ears that it could be set to find a new home in an alternative town or city. One that would be, apparently, apt for the icon?

Any more info is proving elusive, but suggestions would be more than welcome. Ideas on a postcard, please.
