Pascall + Watson celebrated its 50th anniversary in style last week, with champagne flowing freely at an exhibition at the Design Museum. Work on display showed off the airport designer's projects in the UK and abroad, incorporating a DVD projection of their £4.2 billion work on Richard Rogers' concept for Heathrow's Terminal 5. Managing director Phil Holden took to the floor to deliver a rousing speech, joking about delivering the firm's Wembley tube station project 'on time and on budget' for the FA Cup final in May, to much hilarity. There seems little hope for the project's bigger brother, unfortunately.
