Tennis centre doesmeet LTA standards

Michael Simpson should really look more carefully before rushing into print with condemnations of published projects (Letters, aj 4.12.97).

Does he really think that a Sports Council-backed, Lottery-funded project which received the Lawn Tennis Association award for Indoor Facility of the Year - I refer to our Northumberland tennis centre which was published in aj 23.10.97 - would not comply with LTA requirements?

Look again, Mr Simpson - both the artificial and natural lighting occur between courts, not over them as you claim.
