I admire the work of the team that participated in designing the Jubilee School in south London (AJ 1.5.03).
The work shows a great concern for sustainability while at the same time providing comfort for its users. In the article, little explanation was given to the reasons for using simple solutions such as the glass in the chimneys. To this I can add that the double-glazed window in the chimneys, for example, has been placed to face the south in order to increase the air temperature that will increase the air velocity in return.
In my opinion, readers need to know more about the reasons for using techniques, products and solutions in buildings, something I hope will be available in future issues.
