Its most recent event, WorkTech06, on the impact of wireless technology in the workplace, included talks by Carlo Ratti, director of MIT's SENSEable City Laboratory, and Philip Ross and Jeremy Myerson, co-authors of Space to Work.

The National Home Energy Rating (NHER) scheme has launched a training programme for energy assessors who can qualify to issue the Energy Performance Certificates, which will be required when domestic properties are sold as of June 2007. The eight-day course over 12 weeks costs £3,250.
