Tati reputation

astragal

In Rotterdam until 27 April, the Netherlands Architecture Institute casts a sceptical eye on Modernism with its exhibition 'Tatirama'.The subject is French post-war reconstruction as seen in the films of humorist Jacques Tati, whose Mon Oncle includes its very own 'machine for living' (the Villa Arpel) and whose high-rise set for Traffic was inspired by La Défense.

All organised thematically in line with the Charter of Athens - it promises to be fun.
