I was pleased to learn about the Architects for Justice in Palestine group (AJ 09.02.06) and went to their meeting, but I am writing to protest about Rob Sharp's report on it.

How cynical to emphasise the fantasy of death threats to Richard Rogers and Charles Jencks, rather than the reality of violence in the enforcement of Israeli planning law and erection of the 'Separation Wall'. Sharp's tabloid reporting does no good and cheapens the AJ. There is no shortage of architecture magazines that put style before substance, but I have always looked to the AJ to persevere with a serious agenda and to do so with integrity.

So, if you want to do the right thing, I suggest you send the unfortunate Mr Sharp to the West Bank so he can report back to us loyal AJ readers about who is really under threat there.
