Sustainability strategy needs scientific solution

Letters

The AJ puts the Bill Dunster versus Austin Williams sustainability pros and cons on the table with a resounding bang (13.6.00)!

I am a devout Bill Dunster fan and always will be but I have to admit that even his brilliant development ideas seem capable only of scratching the surface. The majority of all developments are already in existence and they are virtually all unsustainable. Without something on the lines of an international compulsory generous grant strategy the majority of these would remain unsustainable. On the other hand, perhaps Austin Williams could offer a more scientific solution.
