Survival kit

In the run up to every MIPIM, the most bizarre selection of invites, press releases and other nefarious bits and bobs arrives in the offices of the AJ.

However, this year a special mention for inventiveness must go to Capita Symonds, part of the Capita Group that bought Percy Thomas last summer. They sent a MIPIM survival guide that included an Alka Seltzer, a compass, a tiny sachet of Marmite, a miniature of brandy and a small pack of mints. All will indeed come in useful on the Riviera.
