Maher Matar, a Part 3 student at the Architectural Association, produced this proposed design for Atlantic College in Wales. The brief was to provide student accommodation for the international school to accommodate people from different cultures and backgrounds and promote tolerance and interaction.

The building was designed around a courtyard that acts as a main entrance, providing interaction between students, better visual security and enhanced daylighting and ventilation. Locally sourced and sustainable materials were used for most of the works.
