Andy Hassell is a part-time student at the University of Central England in Birmingham in his second undergraduate year. The title of his project is 'Caravan Paradise'. The idea is to create a fashionable urban space in the developing area of Paradise Circus in Birmingham city centre with the addition of student accomodation. He has chosen to use refurbished caravans as his accomodation, as they are cheap, environmentally friendly and mobile. It also allows for a tourist site in the centre of Birmingham, especially in the summer when students have broken up.
