Stirling Prize is not quite open to everybody

Without wishing to decry the remarkable powers of the AJ, I was surprised to read that the clever money is on Foreign Office Architects' Yokohama Terminal for this year's Stirling Prize. I doubt even the combined powers of last year's judges, Farshid Moussavi and Paul Finch, could fast-track Japan into the EU in time for the closing deadline for this year's RIBA Awards of 14 March. But if you have built inside the EU, download your form now from www. architecture. com Tony Chapman, head of awards, RIBA
