ST HELENS WANTS NEW EDEN

A regeneration agency in St Helens has unveiled plans to create an 'Eden Centre of the North' in the Lancashire town.The £200 million scheme will form part of a framework to create jobs and reclaim brownfield land in the town, which suffered industrial decline in the 1990s.The project aims to develop a plot somewhere on the M6 corridor, in an effort to 'bring tourist money to the area'.
