Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is set to unveil a new 530m2 megastore at its White Hart Lane ground next month designed by Dalziel & Pow, working with Knott and Shepherd.

The £500,000 building, which the club intends to launch at the same time as its new Adidas replica kit, has gone up as part of an 18-week project programme from briefing to opening, and the wraps are scheduled to come off on July 16.

The megastore will feature six, full-height window bays along the length of its long High Street frontage, displaying new products and acting as a 'teaser' view of the interior.

Fans will enter by the store's corner entrance, remodelled and strengthened with a glazed, double-height opening on to a new lobby with 'atmosphere' graphics and a 'hall of fame' display of memorabilia. The store has been planned to accommodate for a number of visitors at peak trading times. This can reach an average footfall of 600 people, so 16 checkout tills are provided to cut delays.
