Spell cheque


Architects are not renowned for their spelling ability, so it was reassuring to learn that Michael Squire asks all potential employees to spell four slightly tricky words. However, at the launch of his practice's monograph last week, he announced that dyslexia is a crucial part of an architect's make-up. 'If they get any of the four right, we don't take them on.' Happily, the monograph appears to have been proof-read.
