Software 'informers' leave a nasty taste

letters

I was horrified to read that 93 per cent of voters in your website poll (AJ 3.4.03) would inform on their companies regarding software licences.

This is the type of technique that Hitler and other dictators used to gain power, by rewarding cowardly informers to rat upon their fellow workers. It is up to service companies to deal with any infringements and not to rely on despicable informers.

Ugh! Nasty, nasty!

SH Eagleson, Worthing
