Third place: Richard Hutchinson

I’ve spent considerable time looking for flaws in this drawing, but I can’t find any. It is a stunning rendering of a romantic subject in architecture, which immediately draws you to it.

It is, however, a rendering done in a studio (in my view) and, I would think, from a photograph not on site, nor in real time; like Adrian’s it goes against my idea of a ‘sketch’. If he had done work- up sketch drawings in preparation for the final drawing then he might have been my winner.
