The Building Centre continues its terrific run of evening lectures directed by the man with a thousand contacts, the ever-youthful P. Cook, knight of this realm.

One of his recent threesomes were Squint Opera, Jason Bruges and Baubotanik. The latter, a Stuttgart group formed by Hannes Schwertfeger, Ferdinand Ludwig and Oliver Storz, has no website – you could look here but the group's work with plant material is so interesting they owe us an illustrated website.

Jason Bruges is the hot name in interactive events design. He's Oxford Brooks + Bartlett, Foster and Imagination, and so is one of us. But his website is so not don't-make-me-think that I'm not sure if a web designer had even been thought of. The graphics are sort of interesting but the site clogged itself up when I tried to open the 'portfolio' section. Pity because the work is terrific.

SquintOpera does have a website and more of that next week.
