Control of lighting and the setting up of scenes should be much easier with the latest introduction from Erco. This combines the use of the DALI protocol, which makes lights intelligently addressable, with the installation of information chips in each of its fittings.

Coupled with a near pocket-sized server and laptop software, it will allow architects and lighting designers to set up and edit a series of complex scenes very easily. Wiring is hugely simplified, and there is no need for control cabinets. The software is intended to be instinctive to use, particularly to anybody familiar with Adobe Photoshop.
