SÍDERT-LJE HOSPITAL, SWEDEN

FOCUS ON: LIGHTING

Many UK hospitals have a shortage of natural lighting (see healthcare theme in next month's AJ Specification for neurosurgeon Henry Marsh's view of this). At S÷dertõlje Hospital, Sweden, Skyports have been placed on the facade to transport light into the X-ray department, which is in an area of the building without windows.
