The Royal Town Planning Institute has given its top award to the Falkirk Wheel, the Millennium Link designed by RMJM. The scheme, submitted by British Waterways, Scotland, beat competition from 18 finalists and was branded 'a major achievement in environmental terms'and 'key regeneration catalyst'by judging panel chairman John Billingham.The project, which clinched the Jubilee Cup, enables up to eight boats at a time to ascend or descend a vertical height of 35m.Other winners included ...
