Rivington Place by Adjaye Associates

Shoreditch, London

The first new arts building in London backed with public funding since the Hayward Gallery 40 years ago, Rivington Place is the permanent home for Iniva (Institute of International Visual Art) and Autograph ABP. It is dedicated to work by practitioners from culturally diverse backgrounds and is a centre of excellence for the presentation and dissemination of their work in the visual arts.

The 1,445m2 building, which opened in October 2007, includes a double-height project space, gallery, lecture theatre, cafe, library, digital media lab and offices.
