RITCHIE GETS THE GO-AHEAD

As predicted by the AJ (AJ 22.09.05), a planning inspector report has recommended approval for Ian Ritchie's highly contentious scheme for the Potter's Field site next to Tower Bridge.

The inspector's report, which was made public earlier this week, is highly critical of the position taken by detractor English Heritage on the scheme, slating it as 'completely unclear'.
