RIBA out to party with politicians

The RIBA will be taking its concerns on the built environment into the political arena this year, hosting fringe meetings at the party conferences.

It will be the first time the institute has been represented on the conference circuit as it continues its policy of wooing politicians and the government.

The RIBA will host debates on sustainable housing at the Liberal Democrat and Labour conferences and a dinner on architecture and heritage regeneration at the Conservative conference.
